Terms and Conditions.

These terms cover use of this website and the services we provide. They are written to be readable, not to hide anything in the small print.

1. About these terms

This website is operated by Anance Intelligence Ltd, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC880824), based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom ("Anance", "we", "us"). By using this website you agree to these terms. Where we agree to provide a service to you, the specific terms of that engagement will be set out in a separate written agreement, which takes precedence over anything on this page if the two differ.

2. What we do

Anance sets up and configures automation systems, and designs and builds custom software, for businesses. Our automations connect to tools you already use through their official interfaces and act on events such as a new quote or enquiry. We rely on established third-party platforms to run these systems and are open about that in our Security & data handling page.

3. Pilots

We may offer a trial or pilot so you can see a system work on your own business before committing to pay. The scope, duration, and any conditions of a pilot will be agreed with you in writing. A pilot creates no obligation to continue, and either side can end it at any time.

4. Your responsibilities
5. Fees

Any fees, and when they are due, will be set out in the written agreement for your engagement. Nothing on this website is an offer to provide services at a particular price.

6. Third-party platforms

Our services depend on platforms operated by others, including workflow, AI, email, and database providers, and on the systems you connect. We are not responsible for the availability, changes, or failures of those third-party services, though we will work in good faith to keep your automation running.

7. No guaranteed outcome

Automation can recover work that would otherwise be lost, but we do not guarantee a specific commercial result, such as a particular number of jobs won or amount of revenue recovered. Any examples we give are illustrative, not promises.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, or data, arising from use of this website. Liability under any service engagement is governed by that engagement's agreement.

9. Intellectual property

The content, design, and branding of this website belong to Anance. Ownership of anything we build for a client, and of that client's own data, is dealt with in the relevant service agreement.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the courts of Scotland have jurisdiction, without affecting any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
